BeautyMNL’s Solutions category contains all the essential skin care solutions you need to keep your body in tip-top shape. Hence, you’d find a wide range of products here, from lotions and deodorants to even wax. But did you know that you can use these products in a variety of things that are not necessarily related to their primary purposes? Read on to find out.
With its wide range of uses, it can give lip balm a run for its money. For starters, you can use it outside your armpits—you can apply it on your shoes to prevent them from rubbing and chafing against your feet.
Musty closet? Unwrap a stick of deodorant and leave it inside to absorb the smell. Squeaky door? If you don’t have WD-40, you can spray your aerosol deodorant to loosen it up. And if the kids wrote on your walls using permanent marker, spritz on that deodorant again on the stains and then wipe it clean.
Got some extra lotion? You can use it lieu of shaving cream, especially if you end up dry shaving. Or you can use it to loosen up a ring stuck on your finger.
You can also use it to remove the price tag stickers from a brand new item. Just put lotion on top of the sticker and leave it for around 3 minutes. Then you can just rub it off and/or wash the remnants away with water.
Got a very fine yet above the surface splinter that tweezers can’t grab? Use hair removal wax. Just put the heated wax over the splinter and the area surrounding it, put the fabric strip on top, then tear it off. The splinter will hopefully adhere to the wax and will be removed. This method also works if you’ve gotten cactus spines stuck in your skin.
