Using the same soap that you use on your body to wash your face isn’t always the best course of action. After all, the skin on your body is a bit different from the skin on your face—your face has more sweat and oil glands, for instance. To help you choose the right facial wash, here are some tips:
1. Like most other skin care products, it’s important to select the cleanser that’s right for your face. For example, if you have dry skin, it’s best to avoid facial washes that contain alcohol. Those with oily skin should go with one that has a low pH level or have foaming properties to wash away excess oil without irritation. Meanwhile, if you have sensitive skin, you have to go for fragrance- and soap-free cleansers to prevent irritation and breakouts.
