Feels like heaven

This body butter shocked me in an instant! You'll never feel so sticky at all unlike other body butter and will leave your skin soft, smooth and fragrant. I always apply this before bedtime and because of its aroma definitely feels like heaven and it smells all over the room!

Moisturizes well but full of overpromises

Before posting my review, I read again the product description and realized that there are just so many superlatives and promises that on paper, it sounds like the perfect body butter ever made on God's green earth. But let me dissect each promise and share which ones are true and which ones are not: "Deeply moisturizes" (check) and heals dry, rough skin (not too sure about healing my post eczema skin because I still have welts / post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation); tones and conditions skin to help prevent cellulite and stretchmarks (sorry, but no); brightens and whitens skin tone (not true. as mentioned, it didn't lighten my PIH); firms and tightens sagging contours (no, no, no); protects skin with natural sunscreens (all just a claim). Another thing is I find the scent overwhelming - don't get me wrong, it smells good (like The Body Shop's Olive Body Butter) but it's too much for my eczema-prone skin. My skin feels moisturized after every use but it leaves it with a tingling sensation and I'm not sure if it's' because of the ingredients that gives this butter its powerful scent. In a nutshell, this is just a good moisturizer, no more, no less. If you're looking for a product that firms, tightens, contours, brightens/whitens, prevents cellulite and stretchmarks, then you're better off finding it somewhere else. This is a tub full of overpromises that buyers may feel disappointed in the long-run.
