Wouldn't recommend for a beginner; try using wet brush
Note that I did not buy this from BeautyMNL site, but I have this item nonetheless. Pros: it's cute, it comes with a mirror, it's really a chocolate bar looking palette, it's a mix of matte, satin, and shimmer. Cons: they're not very pigmented, there are shades with lots of fall outs, the mirror is a bit too small for my liking (i have to use a different/separate mirror to do my eye shadow), there are shades that don't swatch nicely, and it seems you need a wet brush to be able to apply this. Applying it with a dry brush doesn't show much on any part of your skin, much less on the eyes, no matter the amount I try to pick up on my brush. I use a natural hair brush (not a synthetic one) as I've previously read that synthetic brushes won't pick up much of the product on these pans, but even so, there's still not much product I can pick up. The pans seem too dry, which is why articles I've previously read suggested I use a damp/wet brush. Anyway, this palette for me is still not bound for the giveaway pile because I feel like I haven't played with it that much for me to get even minimal results. Giving this 3 stars because the price is really high up there yet the consistency and formula used on these pans are not so great.
