Go for this at hindi ka mag sisi! Since I was a kid, I really like to make pakialam sa parlor ng mga nail polishes but since kids cannot wear them syempre tanaw tanaw lang ako. I am legally allowed to wear polishes when i was in college! For a girl like me who is into coloring their nails, this girl stuff items is for you!!
I love Girlstuff nail polishes since I tried the Machiatto shade but unfortunately, this one, although it looks nice when dried, didn't really meet my expectations. First, it's an old stock as can be seen from the packaging and thus has a thicker consistency than usual. Second, the smell is quite overpowering. Third, it takes too long to dry. Probably, if I had gotten a newer stock of this nail polish, then, maybe, I'd like the overall experience of this product.
This is the second color I tried from the brand, and I definitely like the first one - Machiatto - much more. Note, though, that this might be because I'm cool-toned. It looked lovely on a friend of mine, who's warm-toned and a shade or so darker than myself. As I mentioned in my review of Machiatto, this is also a bit tricky to put on. One coat is way too light - 2-3 easily runs the risk of too much, such that the formula gets bubbly and ugly after just one dip in water. It's hard to argue with the price, but if you're not very good at doing your own nails I wouldn't recommend this brand. If you have the time and the tools, though, I suppose give this a shot.
Of the three colors I bought from Girl Stuff, this is my least favorite. It's ok, but I found it just a tad too dark and maybe too plain and flat for me. I can see using another color on top of this to either lighten it up or just change the color a bit. My bad too for thinking I would be into something this dark, as my preferences tend to be for the lighter shades. But with this price tag, defo no regrets at all.
