“I was previously using a 10% niacinamide/1% zinc serum from a popular brand, however, after using it for some time I came to the conclusion that I didn’t like it. It dried down tacky, pilled easily if I tried to use it over or under other serums, and made the sides of my nose itch really bad.”
“This one by TIAM is more elegant in my opinion. It doesn’t seem to feel as tacky as the previous serum, and issues with pilling have been almost nonexistent (the one time it did I didn’t wait long enough for it to dry down and my skin has absorption issues). Also, no more itching! The serum itself is clear, has no discernible smell, and while it is viscous it’s runnier than the niacinamide serum I’d been using.”
“When I initially started using this my skin had a bit of a freak out, whiteheads to be specific. I’m not entirely sure if this was purging from the serum, or just my skin being my skin as acne has been ongoing issue for me. My skin cleared up in about a week or so and I’ve had no issues since.”
“It seems to have helped heal/fade the dark spots left by previous breakouts to the point that they’re barely visible now. Though as a disclaimer, I use a few other products, such as vitamin c, in conjunction to help do so.”
“There were a few other serums I was considering but then this was released, and it combined 10% niacinamide and 2% alpha arbutin (the other serums I was looking at contained either one or the other), it stood out as the logical choice. Overall, I’m really happy I chose this one =)”
