I’m glad I did

”I looove this Banana Dreams powder. To be honest I was too cheap to invest in the popular powders that are around so I tried this on a whim. I’m glad I did. I’m a woman of color, medium complexion and this doesn’t give me an ashy look at all. It’s super fine and does a great job of absorbing oil and keeping my foundation or concealer in place. I use this to bake after concealing and it works great. It could also be used as a finishing powder all over, which I haven’t tried yet since I prefer to use a powder closer to my natural skin color. But if you’re looking for a dupe for Banana Powder or Buttercup, this is it!”

You can use thjs to contour, set your foundation/concealer, or bake. I usually ise this all over my face when I need to set my bb cream or dewy foundation, especially when I'm running errands. It's pretty good and doesn't accentuate dry patches or my pores at all so kudos!2 months ago
I don't find myself reaching for this for every make up look (since I've found that using a regular pressed powder makes for a more natural-looking effect) but I definitely use this product to set my base every time I know that my look needs to be long-wearing. When I do use it, I actually set my whole face with this loose powder just to counter any oiliness that may arise but I noticed that it can leave my skin looking a little yellow-er than usual. In addition, travelling with this is a nightmare since the powder tends to go everywhere inside the packaging and practically explodes in your face once you open it after vigorous shaking in your bag.7 months ago
Well you really won't see me going back to any other setting powder. This one has done its job so well that I keep on recommending it to people with neutral undertones like myself. This sets my concealer like a dream, has allowed me to go really, really lighthanded with a powder foundation for my everyday face, without any of the products oxidizing and caking up thoughout the day. I'm not really that oily but this doesn't mattify my face too much that it's comical, either. So soft, too. Definitely an essential part of my makeup routine.8 months ago
This product provides a beautiful highlighted flawless look to the skin, especially the under eye area. It sets the under eye area perfectly and it also does not dry out my skin either. It also keep me looking more matte all day; if used all over the face. Will repurchase this product again!9 months ago
I am in love. I have quite a few setting powders (mostly translucent) but none of them comes close to Banana Dreams in terms of its mattifying and brightening properties. It is easy to blend, it sets makeup flawlessly in place, it brightens dark under eyes (when used for baking), and it doesn't have flashback. Most of all, it is 4x more affordable compared to the much raved Ben Nye powder, which I haven't tried and probably never will. Because what more can I ask for when Banana Dreams has it all?9 months ago
I didn't expect it to be good. I was looking for a simple loose powder that does not look obvious but good enough to mattify my skin. I use it as a daily powder after applying my sunscreen. It brightens my face without the white cast. It looks so natural specially on my complexion. Love it!11 months ago
