Purchased this one since I've read good reviews about it, however, the moment I opened it, It smells like rubber. I tried washing it but to no avail. I tried using it with foundation and the texture feels weird when I dab/slide it on my skin. It's not as soft as I thought it will be as well.3 months ago
Based on the reviews, I thought this would be as soft as the beauty blender or real techniques sponge because I was looking for a dupe. It's so hard! Although it blends my foundation, I still did not like the feel on my skin because it was so hard. DO NOT SOAK IN WATER too, because that will only make your foundation or other products water because this does not absorb water at all!7 months ago
To be honest, this for me felt kind of like stone. I use the Real Techniques sponge, and that one's pretty soft, LA Girl also has a relatively soft sponge (as compared to this one). Compared with the other two I mentioned, this one kind of just felt like I was beating my face with a rock. Personally, I use it more for powders rather than liquid products, because it has the firmness to press the powder into the skin. But other than that, I'd say get another sponge.10 months ago
Tried using this thrice and it was really bad. The sponge was hard as a rock even though I've been trying to saturate, and even over-saturate it! It absorbs a lot of the product I put and it just stays in the sponge. It didn't even blend into my skin! Speaking of blending, it hurt my face since it's too hard, unlike the Beauty Blender which is soft. It's hard to clean, too.12 months ago
This helps me blend my foundation so well, and it helped me get my makeup done quickly especially on work days when I have eto get my makeup done quickly in time for my morning commute. It's a bit firm, but it's not annoyingly hard (unlike my first blender, which was very tough) so it's a steal. Will definitely buy these again once I need to replace the one I already have.about 1 year ago
I love it. This is my first makeup sponge. I always just used a foundation brush. But, this has definitely changed my game. Blending my foundation with this was so easy. It absorbs a bit of the product so the foundation does not end up being cakey on my skin. That said, it does not absorb too much of the makeup so there's no waste of product here. It's soft but not too soft so it did not irritate my sensitive skin as I dabbed the product onto the skin, I used it damp. In conclusion, this is definitely going to be a holy grail!about 1 year ago
