Greaaaaaat smell!

I used to clean my brushes with dishwashing soap (saw this hack somewhere) because the brush cleaners that I have used before were not really effective and they smell kind of funky. My friend recommended this to me and I decided to try it. OMG. The smell is really amazing. It is so refreshing and you can really see the gunk coming off your brushes when you wipe it.

Great Product

It cleans very well. I usually spritz a few on my brushes and rub it against a cloth or tissue. If i have time, i will wash my brushes with shampoo afterwards. It dries quick and not so oily. My only concern is the amount of product in the bottle, you need to spritz a bit to really clean your brushes.

All-in-all a great product!

Works really good! Definitely an easy way to clean your brushes :) What I can say is that if you really want a deep clean for your brushes, you should just wash it with soap and water. This is just does most of the cleaning, but sometimes, it takes A LOT of pumps to remove pigmented makeup, like eyeshadow and contour, from a brush. I guess this would work for you if you're a makeup artist and is on the go, using his/her brushes all the time. It smells nice though and is perfect for travelling.

So glad that I was curious enough to buy this! Ellana Brush Cleaner works pretty well for cleaning all of my eyeshadow brushes on a daily basis. I don't use this for my bigger and fluffier brushes because I don't use them with different colors as much. Love the refreshing scent that this has too! You get a huge amount of product for its price. I highly recommend this and will repurchase again. :)

True to its claim

Ellana is all over YouTube and Facebook ads, what got me into their brand was their good coverage loose/pressed powders. So when I saw that they had a brush cleaner, I wanted to try using such instead of doing the DIY/traditional one. I first used Pro Studio (Beauty Exclusives)'s brush cleaner, but wasn't really satisfied with it. Ellana's is definitely better than that product. It only takes one-three (max) pumps to clean my brushes. I have yet to comment on the product's longevity (if it's worth it than doing the manual cleaning). But the scent is really nice (cucumber melon) and perfect for lazy girls like me. I tried using it with one of my brushes that I haven't cleaned in a long time, and although it did clean most of it, there are still residue left. I guess it's better to clean them regularly. Anyway, that was just a test. Still, I'll recommend this to my friends!

This is my first purchase of a brush cleaner since I don't have many brushes to begin with. I can definitely say that this is effective in removing surface dirt but apparently has trouble in dispelling long-sitting dirt. To maximize its effectiveness, it's better to habitually clean your brushes RIGHT AFTER use.
