THE GIST
A linguine pasta made from chickpeas that goes great in chunkier sauces with evenly chopped ingredients like Bolognese
FEATURES
- A high protein, lower carb, gluten-free alternative to traditional pasta that’s also low glycemic and high fiber
- Each serving has 2x the protein, 3x the fiber, and 1/2 the net carbs of traditional pasta
- Tastes, looks, and cooks more like traditional pasta than other alternative pastas, including lentil pasta, quinoa pasta, black bean pasta, edamame pasta, brown rice pasta, and whole wheat pasta
- Great for an easy vegetarian or vegan meal
REVIEWS:
I can’t go back to regular pasta!
2020
”Absolutely LOVE this pasta! I had the linguine for dinner and it was so tasty! It’s cooked like regular pasta and texture is similar. Only thing that caught me off guard was how much foam appears in the pot while cooking. Other than that, I will be incorporating this in my diet more! #teamchickpeas” -Leslie S. (eatbanza.com)
HOW TO USE:
1. Taste the pasta as you get close to the cook time. The texture is all about personal preference and the only way to know when your pasta is cooked perfectly is to try it!
2. Don’t be afraid to adjust the burner as you go. The water should maintain a steady rolling boil as the pasta cooks. Stirring frequently helps ensure it cooks evenly.
3. If you’re making a pasta salad or cooking extra pasta to meal prep, cook it to the lower end of the time range and toss it with a little olive oil before storing in the fridge. Banza pasta does best when stored alone and tossed with sauce right before eating.
