“This is excellent chili pepper. When I saw the color I was concerned it would be too hot. It’s not. The flavor is very deep. Almost raisiny. Excellent heat. It comes on slow and is comfortably warm - hot. I paid far more for ““high end”” pepper that was not as complex.”

“I don’t know what to say, really. I use it in a lot of different recipes. I don’t know that the red pepper is much better or worse than other red peppers, but I use a LOT and the convenience of the packaging really helps! The flavor is certainly what you would expect from crushed red peppers. Try this stuff in your next marinara! Garlic, olive oil and basil are about all you need with a generous sprinkling of Kirkland crushed red pepper! And if that doesn’t sound good…don’t knock it if you haven’t ever tried it!”
