good product

I honestly bought this just so I could avail of the Free Shipping. Hihihi 😁 But when I tried this product, I was pleasantly surprised! I loved how it makes product application a breeze. It reaches the nooks and crannies of my eye area and my nose as well. I have used this a few times and what I did not like was its smell and how tough its material is. I tried using it wet and dry but it is just still the same. It wasn't that bad but for its price, you get what you pay for. 😊

Seamless finish!

I opted to use this over my usual foundation brush one day, and ever since then I find myself reaching for it a lot more often. This tool does tend to pick up and absorb some of the product, therefore not being able to provide the same amount of coverage as my foundation brush. However, it is much easier & faster to use, and it gives me a more natural finish that works really well for my everyday makeup! This is my first sponge blender, and it did not disappoint at all.

Not so ok

At first, I thought this is an awesome product as the foundation finish is better using this than a brush but upon trying out different brands, I realized there are many other sponges that are better and softer than this. Though it can do a decent job, you need a little more effort in blending. It doesn't expand when wet and it's not bouncy. Better be used in baking, I think.

Amazing!

I love this sponge! It is super affordable, but super useful. It is really easy to use and blends really well. Small problem though, is that it is not too sturdy? Like, just one wash and it already started getting bigger holes. I would buy it again, though, since it is quite cheap.

Yaaaaaaaaas! (Except for one thing)

What helped me get rid of the "factory smell" was soaking it in lukewarm, soapy water prior to the first use (as I do with all my new sponges and brushes). I use cream contour so it is kind of tricky to apply and the brush that the palette came with doesn't help at all (reviewed that palette separately. Hahaha!) Thank the Beauty Gods that I found this blender! The shape gives you a good grip for when you're applying contour and the blender is dense enough to diffuse the harsh lines from the cream contour.

Better buy an airpuff cell/rubcell puff instead

This soaks up the product like nobody's business. Maybe because it's too porous. It is also too dense for my liking. When you dab your face with it, it feels like your punching your face with a dried out sponge. Damping the sponge doesn't help with making it more "soft" or squishy either. My drugstore bought airpuff cell is better at blending than this one. Will not repurchase not recommend this to anyone.
