Invest in something better, ladies.
I purchased this elsewhere, but I feel the need to share my thoughts on it to help others decide whether or not this is the sponge for you. It wasn't for me, unfortunately. First of all, the sponge is quite firm. Even after soaking it in running water and squeezing out the excess, it doesn't get any softer nor does it expand like most other sponges. If it does expand, then the different in size is very little. Overall, I find this sponge difficult to work with sometimes. Plain and simple. It doesn't do the best job at blending out either my liquid or cream foundations. I eventually just end up reaching for my Beauty Blender or Real Techniques sponge or a brush. It will either blend out my makeup in a patchy manner or not at all. What it does work best with though is with cushions. The one upside of this sponge for me is the shape because it's easy to hold and control, but that's about it. In the end, you're much better off investing in the original Beauty Blender, which is is still my personal favorite, or the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge.
