Dependable Brush Cleaner

I love this brush cleaner. I used the Pure Brush Cleaner for all my brushes and sponges. With just a few drops my brushes and sponges become clean as new. The formulation is strong enough to clean my tools without destroying it. The hairs of my brush doesn'tshed and my sponges do not degrade after washing. It has a nice, clean smell that is not overpowering. I bought this bottle size for use at home and to refill my smaller Pure Brush Cleaner bottle that I bring along when I travel.

Thorough Brush Cleaning Shampoo

I know it's hygienic to clean your brushes - it keeps dust, dirt, oil, and leftover make-up off your brushes that can cause breakouts or irritation. I know it's a bit expensive to buy a "special" shampoo for brushes but this one is something that I appreciate. Cleaning my brushes is a breeze, it cleans it thoroughly. I usually dilute this with water for my eye brushes. But I especially like that this can clean off my brushes for foundation which is the one that is stubborn. I noticed a different with using this compared to just ordinary soap. The pump is able to dispense enough product and it's plastic so you don't have to worry if you knock it off or spill it. I would repurchase this since it's not as expensive compared to the others and works the same as compared to the one from RTs. I highly suggest to buy a brush cleaning glove or pad in conjunction to this.

Like new brushes

I really love and adore my make up brushes. I always wanted to keep them clean and safe when storing them. When i was just beginning to clean my brushes i bought the cheap product. Who knows this will ruin the quality of your brushes. The bristles of my brushes started to shed. And they become stiff. I threw that cleanser immediately and promise to not buy it again. Until i knew this brand. Nothing will ever make my brushes clean and just like new.

effective but drying

its effective and really does clean brushes and sponges well. Only thing i have to say about it is that its very very drying on the hands. my hands felt like as if they were stripped of moisture entirely. ill wear gloves next time i clean my tools. but over all my brushes are now white again and smell great!

Good brush cleaner

Bought this from a suesh counter at the mall. One bottle lasts for a long time and I love that it has a pump, making it easy to dispense the product. It is thick so just one pump can remove a lot of grime, for a really dirty brush I use up to 3 pumps. But it has a scent which lingers, which is the only downside for me. It is ok but it is better if it has no scent since I have acne-prone skin.

Not strong enough for stubborn foundation residue on the brush

I clean my brushes daily and I'm always on the lookout for products that can effectively clean but would be gentle enough for my pricey brushes. I have Sigma, Mac and Zoeva and I take good care of them (I even use brush guards to keep their shape). This cleans brushes used for eyeshadow quite well, but not for long-lasting foundation like MAC Matchmaster or Revlon Color Stay. I still find combining extra virgin olive oil with baby shampoo to be the best way to clean stubborn foundation on the brush. I love the smell this leaves on the brush, but not sure if I want to repurchase because it's not as effective as I was hoping it to be.
