RCMA

The Research Council of Makeup Artists, or RCMA for short, was founded by renowned make-up artist Vincent JR Kehoe in 1962. Kehoe wanted to create a line of products that would stand up to the tests of professional makeup artistry and not melt away under the bright lights of showbiz. Over 50 years later, RCMA’s signature Color Process Foundation has reached holy grail status among beauty buffs, and their other impressive products aren’t far behind.

#1

I tried the No Sebum Powder of Innisfree, Althea Limited Edition Powder, and a few other setting powders - nothing beats RCMA for keeping your makeup intact. I have been using it for the last 3 months and I am impressed. The salt-and-pepper shaker look leaves much to be desired. Perfect for oily & combination skin.

Disappointing

I’ve started using this from May up until now. It does set my foundation but it makes it “too matte” and it leaves a white cast on my face, making it not that translucent. Though I’m not sure if it depends on the amount of product you apply. I do put enough on my face that i feel the powdery smoothness, since i don’t want that sticky feeling. Maybe it’ll work if your foundation is matte so you wouldn’t have to apply that much and make it translucent as it says. I also hate the packaging since a lot of the product gets wasted when you use it! I still gave it 3 stars since it has a lot of product and it does not cake even when my face gets oily. Overall, with its price, I wouldn’t repurchase. P.S. if you decided to try this one anyway, go to beauty bazaars since it sells cheaper (Saw one for P700 only).

Worth the money!

This has always been my favorite loose powder! It's not as finely milled as the more expensive brands, but it's definitely a cut above the rest :) Unlike the Coty Airspun translucent powder, this doesn't give off that heavy feeling when you dust it on your face. A bonus for me is that it doesn't have an annoying scent to irritate you either. I think the price point is fair because you're definitely getting a ton of product. The only downside is that it can get messy when applying because of the packaging :(

Left a white cast and too drying :(

I got this because of the hype and it's a good value product, but I'm very disappointed with it. This powder is super drying, my skin always becomes too matte after applying this as a setting powder despite me being the oily skin type. It also left a white cast on my face despite its claims. In terms of packaging, I'm also disappointed because it comes in a salt shaker bottle like container, the opening holes are too big for the finely milled powder. I won't repurchase this, still sticking to my No Sebum Mineral Powder from Innisfree.

Perfect for baking

This no color powder from RCMA is perfect for baking. This helps keep my make up intact all day. It's translucent so ot won't affect the color of your foundation or whatever base make up you are using. The price might be a bit high, but you get a lot of product so it's totally worth it in the long run.

Good to use for undereye makeup!

I've tried this powder because I've seen YT Vloggers praising it on their vids about it not being cakey. It's a bit pricey, to be honest, haha! But I really hate it when my under eyes get cakey because of concealer+normal powder so I decided to buy this. So far, I never get a caked under eyes, no matter how much of it I put on! It's all good. One thing though, since this is a no-color powder, it can't really be used as an added coverage. I just use it for setting my makeup and for baking my undereyes. Will repurchase again, but not too soon because a bottle could last for a few months!
