Just okay for me

I tried this product on my search for the right eyeliner. I'm not very skilled at applying eyeliner so I prefer a pencil which gives a more relaxed look that suits me. I used to use powder formulas and a flat ended angled liner brush, but in the interests of convenience especially while traveling, a pencil would be ideal. I tried the Brown color variant of this and let me just say, it's not a super dark brown, it's more metallic. It's not bad, just different from what I am used to, as I prefer matte finishes (being middle-aged and all). I like the twist up product, no need for sharpening. Color is okay, appropriate for day to night. My only issue with this (as with all of the pencils I've been trying so far), is that it smudges and makes a line along my eye fold. This may be caused by my chininta eyes and may not be a fault of the product itself but I have never had this happen using powder formulas (or the formulas used by my professional makeup artist on my face). My skin is oily, it may be it doesn't set that well, or I need to dry it or blot or something. I liked the smooth glide of the pencil and am just disappointed it smudged just like my old Estee Lauder or Shu Uemura eyeliner pencils. Anyway. The search continues. If you're not oily, this may be good for you. I am still using it, but it does look weird when I close my eyes and it looks like I drew a fine line along my eye folds. LOL
