Not for me

During the couple of times i used this i didnt like how it turned out. I first tried to use a sponge applicator but it ended up so cakey, and with a powder brush it doesnt adhere so well though i used a primer. This formula is just not for me.

Its ok

I got the shade in Ivory. I honestly thought that it would be a perfect match, however it appeared darker. I can say this has a good quality. I would still repurchase this but i will be trying 1 or 2 shades lighter by that time. In the meantime, I use this powder in blurring my bronzer or contour powder for a more natural look.

Keeps my skin tone natural (Warm Ivory)

I've tried Warm Ivory as my skin is fair (not too white, not too dark), yet I want it to look a little bit darker. Making your face looks lighter is not always good, trust me. And I was not disappointed! It enhances my natural skin tone. I can go for darker or a little lighter foundation and use this to polish, and still provide a natural look. Hence, I like it! I still have to try other shades and see the results.

Ultimate Bag Essential

This product does not only help me get through my touch-ups during the day but the mere fact that it is affordable makes it a big plus! The shade I use is Warm Ivory and it blends with my skin tone very well. Since the powder is lightweight, it doesn't feel too heavy on my face making me feel more comfortable.

Good as a finishing powder

The finish of the city color pressed powder is very light so I won't suggest using this on its own. You can get away using this as a setting or finishing powder after applying foundation or to help set your concealer although this won't control oil. The powder is finely milled so it gives a very skin-like finish that's great for a no makeup look.

Lot of product

This pressed powder by City Color has a lot of product in the pan. It is very affordable and bigger compared to other powders available in the market. I use the shade Light. Warm Ivory is also a nice shade for me but I chose Light since warm ivory is more yellow.
