I use this exclusively on my body despite buying it as face and body wash (like its coveted counterpart, Dr Bronner's castile soap). I decided to get this as one of my attempts to reduce my carbon footprint. Sadly though, this did not work for my face. The day after my first wash, I immediately saw angry raised clogged pores all over my temples, cheeks and chin and figured it was because of this since this was the only new product I used on my face then. Anyway, using this as a body wash is not a bad deal. I find my skin feels and smells clean especially when I foam it with a bath loofah. Not to mention the bathroom smells like a heavenly spa every after shower that lingers for a while thanks to the lemongrass scent!8 months ago
I like this castile soap because it makes my skin feel really supple. It's not my favorite scent but this variant cleanses really well, compared to the others. It is very mild but I still would not recommend this to be used as facial wash. I'd say this is a bath staple.about 1 year ago
I made the mistake of applying a small amount of this undiluted on my wet face! The lemongrass smell is so strong the fumes hurt my eyes.. but after I found recipes online using liquid castile soaps as facial wash/foam.. I'm loving it as a mild cleanser diluted. Cleanses without overdrying although it leaves a kind of thin film on the skin. But thanks to lemongrass' antibacterial properties I think, any pimples threatening to appear dry up quickly. In addition I also use it as an ingredient to a no rinse brush cleanser recipe. I'm just not a fan of the strong lemongrass scent hence less 1 star.over 1 year ago
Love the smell! Results didn't show right away but I really love the smooth feel on my skin after using this for almost a month. The after smell in the shower is a plus. It's like a scented candle in the room. My sister even said she can smell it while i'm in the shower. Really love this product!over 1 year ago
