Cheap but WORKS
Have used this for 2 months now. Derma Rollers are supposed to be expensive. When I got to try this, I learned it's not real needles. Imagine the shape of ninja stars? Like triangles joined in a circle? Yeah this is what it is. Despite that, I still use it and it works a bit. No dramatic change yet except ofc the tolerable sting pain right after using it- hapdi pero keri naman. Also ung pagbabalat some parts of the skin which may indicate it is working on the skin- supposed to happen. When that happens, I just apply moisturiser on the flaky skin. THEN AFTER MAYBE 2-3 DAYS, NO MORE FLAKY OR STINGY SKIN, JUST SLIGHTLY RENEWED SKIN. It's not dramatic glow like I said but my skin feels new. I'll buy a real one when I have extra money.

This roller is very easy to use. I am using it once a week right now. I disinfect it with rubbing alcohol before and after using it. It does cause a minor needle-like sensation while rolling. It is definitely not bad. The needles are not long enough to cause any bleeding, but my face is definitely red after using the roller. I usually use it at night before going to bed. I wash my face really well. Then I spread Vitamin C serum (I use Soul Apothecary). I roll the Derma Roller over the serum to help push it into my skin. When I finish, I spread another thin layer of product on my skin. I have found that my skin is less red and blotchy than before I use the roller. (Except, of course, for the initial redness.) The theory is that the tiny wounds caused by the needles encourage your body to produce collagen in that area. My skin seems more firmed and hydrated. I am also seeing some reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. I was skeptical at first, but I think that this roller, along with the serum I am using, is making a positive difference in my skin!
