It hurts 🥺
I got a serious case of chapped lips, and I need something that can help me buff away the dead skin without the manual peeling (we all tend to do).. I was excited because it's 'sugar', but it's actually really bitter and I didn't like the smell. And most of all... it stings. The moment it touched my lips, it felt like putting alcohol to the wound. It does have the sugar granules so maybe for normal lips, this is fine.. but for me no.. it added to the pain of dry chapped lips 🥺

Consistency and texture is too mild
Skinlab's Tomato Glass Skin Sugar Lip Therapy Scrub is watery compared to the other lip scrubs I use. I can feel it's bead-like components but I don't think it's enough to remove dead skin. Apply little by little because the mixture is thin. When I first applied it, I ended up having some on my chin.

Effective lip scrub
For its price, this is a really good lip scrub! I used to use one from Lush, but it doesn't really do much, it just makes my lips smooth. Aside from really being able to remove dead skin cells from my lips, it helps lighten the area, especially the dark outline in my upper lip. I use this one 2-3 times a week and just wipe it off with a damp cloth. I pair this one with Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, and in two weeks' use, I can already see the difference, my perpetually chapped lips are now smoother, softer, and lighter.
