I think I fiound my powder for life
I got Banila's Prime Primer Hydrating Finish Powder. I have read good reviews about it. And since I have oily skin, I really prefer loose translucent powder over compact ones. My Benefit Hello Flawless powder gets cakey come afternoon. The Banila powder comes packaged in a small jar with a powder puff. The jar is frosted but the lid is a shiny silver. The jar contains 12g of product. Looking at the jar, I can see that it contains a lot of powder and will last me maybe a couple of months. I really love this powder. It does exactly what it claims to do: control shine, absorbs oil, and gives you a smooth, matte finish. They say it gives you an airbrushed finish. But since I've never had airbrushed make up done, I really can't tell. All I know is that I love the smooth and shine free finish I get whenever I use this powder. I observed that I'm oil free for a good 4-5 hours before I notice any shine on my face. And even when I do, it's lesser and all concentrated on my T-area which is really quite expected. I use it to set/bake my concealer. I hated the fact that my Bo-ing concealer cakes when I used it. But with the Banila powder, there was no caking. There were no creases either. As for breakouts, I didn't have one. I've been using this powder for more than a month now and I never had a single pimple while using it. No untoward reactions either. For the girl on a budget, this might be too expensive (P1,090). But I think it's worth it because it really does what it says it do. Not only that, 12g is a pretty large amount. It all depends on how much you use it and how often.
