”I am unable to find this specific Manic Panic color at my local drugstores…but I am in love with it and get so many compliments. I just reordered my second bottle and will keep ordering until I can find it in a local store.”

”I have used this for several months now and it works great! I use it right after I bleach my hair, I leave it on for about 30 min then wash it out and it leaves it nice and white. The color last about as long as it takes for my hair to grow out enough for the roots to show, and thats with using normal shampoo, not bothering with the color lock stuff. This is pretty much a low to no maintenance hair dye. But it will only work if you bleach your hair fist, will not work on light blond hair.”

Manic Panic is a global hair color and cosmetic company that began in New York City as the brainchild of punk-rock singers (and sisters!) Tish and Snooky. As vocalists in the original Blondie lineup, they decided to open up America’s very first punk-style boutique, Manic Panic, which catered to the punk and alternative rock crowd. It was there that the sisters introduced their brand’s wildly successful colorful hair dyes and cosmetics, now beloved by your favorite celebrities.
I have this in mega blue. It's really a true blue. I love the shade itself but I'm only giving it three stars because it stains my towels and the staying power only lasted for around 2 weeks. I find that MP's blues have short staying power. Also, it fades just fine.9 months ago
I bought this one together with the vampire red shade. This blue shade is subtle so if you want to try colored hair but is uncomfortable to have striking colored hair, you can go with this one. It's fun to play around with the colors! When I do retouches, sometimes I combine my red and blue shades to achieve a purple hue. Try it, it's fun!9 months ago
I don't use this on myself but I do use this on my daughter. She has a full head of bleached hair, and we noticed that Manic Panic truly does work wonders on bleached hair as opposed to naturally dark hair. I mix this with Davines hair mask to do a 2-in-1 nourish and color session. The finished product is AWESOME but expect it to last about 2 weeks. You'll need nonsulfate shampoo and purple brightening shampoo to extend the life of the color, as expected. Always fun to use.11 months ago
I've been using Manic Panic to dye my hair funky colors since the late '90s and it's still my go-to brand. I love Violet Night and Purple Haze the best for deep purple tones. It's a great, subtle highlight for dark, Asian hair, but you still need to bleach your hair to blonde to get the color right the first time. To keep the color fresh, I mix the dye with an intensive hair mask and I keep it on for about half an hour (more if you really want to intensify the color) before rinsing off.over 1 year ago
This is a great hair dye for me as it doesn't need any peroxide (a no-no for severely bleached hair). I got Purple Haze and I love the color and it's versatile-too much will provide an intense color and if mixed with conditioner, it'll give this silver/gray color that's very on trend. I only removed a star because I prefer the classic ones (hence I apply the brush directly to the jar) but this is based on personal preference.almost 2 years ago
I always have Amplified Semi-Permanent Hair Color in Ultraviolet. Do note that it's hue is way similar to Purple Haze which I use interchangably if either run out of stocks. The point in using these colors is their intense color against a well bleached / whitened hair. There's a huge amount of effort and color care products to use if you want it to last longer. This one lasts up to 3 months on my heavily bleached and treated hair. It's fun to use, easy to apply and best off, it does not smell strong so it's enjoyable to put this on the hair or even when re-applying it. It's a bit pricey but the quality rocks!over 2 years ago
