The scent is not what I was expecting. I even like unisex fragrances but this one smells a bit too masculine for me (my boyfriend said I smelled like a little boy who has been perfumed by his father for the first time due to a special occasion! Go figure). This doesn’t smell like any of the several lavender scented products I use (lotion, oil for burning, essential oil for sniffing). Based on the lavender and rosemary plants that I have, I think it smells more like rosemary which doesn’t quite have the same relaxing effect as lavender for me. It’s very fragrant but I don’t find it comforting as the label says. Compared to the Green Revolution variant (my favorite among the Bath Junkies soaps I’ve tried), it’s not drying but it’s not particularly moisturizing either and I don’t feel that it cleanses that well because I had to make a couple of passes on oily parts. It does smoothen and soften your skin but for that price, I can buy a couple of MORINGA-O2 herbal soaps (my staple). If I’m going to order any more Bath Junkies soap, I’ll stick to Green Revolution. Also, although the packaging is cute, I'd feel more comfortable if the ingredients are listed.
