El Mesa really makes me smile with their coffees.
Taste great :)
I am a morning coffee drinker~ I am one of those who love the dark roast types.
I like a strong coffee when I drink it.
compare to medium roast, Like I have said I am the dark roast ones. Barako is my favorite but it doesn't mean that this not my cup of coffee. :)
I recommend El Mesa whether it's a Dark or Medium Roast.
I definitely prefer this Kalinga Dark Roast for my bpc for its stronger kick and after-taste than of the Benguet Blend. This is my type of coffee ā aromatic, not too light and blends well with bulletproof coffee ingredients, while it can also go without Himalayan Salt. Definitely trying other El Messa Coffee variants too.
This coffee will definitely perk you up in the morning because of its high caffeine content. Perfect for making espresso with its strong sharp and bold mouthfeel. But Iām not a fan of strong coffee, just got it for tasting, my forever favorite is their Benguet blend š Not very overpowering and not that mild at the same time, I love it āļø
This coffee alone has a good dark chocolate aftertaste and has a stronger taste than the arabica.
Try blending this with arabica and hazelnut coffee, which for me can be a better version of the mcdo sweetblack iced coffee. Also this is good for steeping overnight because in my experience this blend gives that dark roast taste that im looking.
Do note that robusta has twice caffeine content than arabica.
