It lessens my dark spots and minimizes pores pero super sensitive ng skin ko sa face. Not sure if damaged na ang skin barrier ko kay madali syang magreact pero may time na namula ang face ko after using this. Madalang ko nalang sya ginagamit and when I do, I make sure I use sunscreen the next day with spf 50.
This is my first retinol serum and I've used it as a spot treatment at first.
Then decided to apply it all over lang my face for 2 weeks. It has dried up my pimples. Im just glad it didn't give me breakout. It seems like i am seeing a little improvement. The whiteheads could easily be removed now but my bigger issue is the deeper pimples. Maybe a dermatologist could help me at this point, but if you have little skin issues, I think this serum will do.
It’s been almost 3 weeks of using this product every other night with my CeraVe moisturizer and I’ve seen promising results. The amount of active breakouts have decreased and it was helped immensely with my texture. Retinol or retinoids have been the gold standard for treating acne and as someone who has suffered with it for 5 to 6 years, I am happy to see positive results. Dr. Davin Lim, board certified dermatologist, who’s also on YouTube and on Instagram, has mentioned that it takes 6 weeks to fully gauge if you’re seeing any tangible results, and would take 6 months for you to fully see the effects of vitamin A. Seeing how 3 weeks in, things have been looking greater than it has in a while, I am more than willing to stick it out and stay with this for the long game.
At first I was so hesitant to try this product because of all those articles citing the negative effects of retinol. It scared the heck out of me! So the first couple of days or so, I applied it in an alternate sequence in the evenings. Noticing that I didn't have any adverse reaction, I then did it every night. Lo and behold, my skin loved it! 😲❤ Now I am putting it on every night before my moisturizer. While slow, I observed that my face is getting more and more refined and smooth. My acne scars are gradually fading. And my face overall is regaining its glow. I don't know if it's the retinol itself or the combination of ingredients in the Dermax Professional skincare line. All I know is that this brand and this item are truly suited for my skin. Yes it is definitely expensive, but it's worth it for me. I will definitely buy this again, along with their UV Milk Sunscreen (which is also great!) since I need to protect my skin too due to the retinol. I will try their Nano White Night Essence next 😍
