I heard so many nice reviews about this product online, so I decided to try it out. I have extremely sensitive, breakout prone skin on my face, and I have been on a hunt to find a minimal routine that would keep my skin healthy. Lo and behold, this immediately made my skin itchy after I cleansed my skin with this. My skin’s healing period takes a while, so I was greeted with patchy red skin for a whole week. It was sad because the cleanser is quite pricey for me. I used it on my body instead, and it was okay. Kind of drying tho.

So far so good!
I have only tried it once upon receiving and it has great results! My skin would always feel tight after using other cleansers, but this doesn't! It does it's job of cleaning thoroughly without stripping away your natural oils. I have very sensitive and acne prone skin and this delivered great results. Would recommend it to people who have the same skin type as me.

Super gentle but will get the job done
I was previously using the cosrx good morning cleanser and decided to explore this one because of Dr. Dray. When I first used this, the first thing that came to mind was it’s like a baby wash — that’s how gentle it is for me. Even though it’s gentle, it cleanses your skin without that squeaky feeling which I really like. I think my go-to will still be the cosrx one but this deserves as my 2nd go-to cleanser. 💛

Very lightweight cleanser.
I'm surprised that Rovectin is actually a Korean skincare brand. This cleanser is my first product from them and is the most lightweight cleanser I tried so far. It begs the question if it is really working. I usually partner it with my double cleanse system. After using a balm cleanser (because I apply water resistant sunscreen multiple times a day), I use this one and it is incredibly very gentle. It washes any residue from my balm cleanser, as well as any other irritants that may have not been cleansed by the balm. The ingredient list is pretty straightforward and I'd say "clean". I don't profess to know every single thing listed there but most have the characteristics of hydrating/moisturizing properties. I never encountered dryness so far. Although, honestly I still need to test it further to see some consistent benefit in my skin. So far it does what cleansers are supposed to without stripping my skin too much. It has a distinct smell that is not off-putting and is not akin to fragrance. I love the clear pump bottle, very simple, not messy at all and you could tell outright if it's almost empty. However, after a while of using it, it kind of bothers me how it goes so quickly. For a 175ML bottle, one full pump or at least 3/4 of a full pump is needed to cover my entire face (neck included). Because it is lightweight, it is probably the reason why I use it so much each time (I only use this though in the evening). When I compared it to my other cleanser, the Low PH Good Morning Cleanser of COSRX which comes in a 150ML bottle, the Rovectin one seems to go fast (considering it is more than 25ML compared to COSRX). In terms of cost effectiveness it takes a dip, but in terms of base, fragrance-free ingredients, it's swell. Overall I feel like it's not for my skin type.
