Good enough for the hype
I can't believe it took me this long to review on one of the most hyped products here! I wasn't so sure how many stars to give this, but when it came down to it, I would actually repurchase this. Granted, I'm not really to privy to so many matte liquid lipsticks on the local market, and clearly this is a little more expensive than a lot of them, though it does hold a good 9g of product. I'm also pretty iffy about its Zesto-y scent, since it's pretty strong and does take a bit to disappear, even on the lips. I'm also not completely sure why this is called a "tint" since doesn't really stain the lips (at least not Naught Nude, Honey Bunny, or Crazy in Love) and I doubt how it could be used as a blush. I'd say it could be more a "blotted lip"-type product, thought it does very much work as your usual liquid matte. I actually do like the formula--it's pigmented, though it does need a bit of finessing on the lips to get opaque, or you could also just go a bit sheer. I find that the product is a little more "flexible" in that it wouldn't crack on your lips even if you move it around, and it doesn't overly emphasize liplines. It's a bit tacky dry, but it also isn't as drying as other products. They do have the tendency to fade from the inside even with just drinks of water, but they do layer pretty okay. I do admire their color range, especially since they have cool-toned and neutral nudes, which I appreciate. If I want a matte lip that's not too fussy and I can just throw on, these Pink Sugar Tints are my go-to.
