If you're looking for that natural pink blush, a shade that looks like you've just pinched your cheeks for a bit of color, then BLK Cosmetics' Face Stack Multi Pot Pan & Lid in Staycation is your new holy grail! Most blushes I've tried had looked too red or too pink and would stand out harshly against my skin. This blush, however, is a perfect middle and is easy to control. It's blendable, so you can easily adjust how opaque the pigment will be. Although it's not long lasting, application is effortless and I'm never bothered with the quick touch-ups I do throughout the day to keep my cheeks blushed up.
Since I already had the Face Stack Pot Pan & Lid in Staycation, I figured I can get Tan Lines as my second pan. The magnetic clasps are pretty tight so adding one more pot wouldn’t hurt. At first, I was worried about dropping a pan or the entire stack falling apart but each pan surprisingly clings on to each other well. It’s built really well and not flimsy at all but personally, 2 pans with a cover is what I’m comfortable with. If you wanted 1-2 more pots and you’re still worried about potential mess or damages, secure the pan in between other products when you store it in your kit.
Now let’s move on to the shade itself. On photo, Tan Lines looks like it can double as a contour pot but upon swatching, I wish I went with another color instead like Room Service or Wanderlust. Formula-wise, it was similar to its sister shades: velvety and easy to apply. Color-wise however, I found that the chocolate brown shade looked unflattering on my cheeks. It’s not as pigmented as Staycation so no matter how much I tried to build up contour, it felt like I wasn’t applying anything on my face. Thankfully, it’s acceptable as an eyeshadow color. It looks subtle and natural, perfect if you’re going for a no-makeup makeup look.
P.S. Photos appear less saturated than the product's true colors.
The formula of this is so creamy! It’s weightless and very easy to apply, plus it’s blendable and buildable to your liking. I got the shade Room Service which is a toned-down coral that’s great for all skin tones. It looked amazing on my medium-warm skin, giving me a healthy-looking flush.
When applied on the lips, it’s best dabbed on with a lip balm or moisturizer for a smooth finish. It’s moisturizing, but faded after lunch so you’ll have to reapply. On my cheeks, it stayed on the entire day!
I’d recommend this more as an eye and cheek pigment rather than a lip pigment. Because of the size and stackable nature, it’s great for taking everywhere and keeping yourself fresh all day.
