WHAT IS IT?
This micro-needling roller is a beginner-friendly, hand-held beauty device for introducing the act of dermarolling to your skin. Made up of needles that are 0.2mm in size, it creates microchannels on the surface to help your skincare products better penetrate into your skin.
WHY DO YOU NEED IT?
It’s where you need to start to help your skin get used to the constant pricking. This 0.2mm size feels relatively painless and shouldn’t cause any bleeding.
SKIN TYPES
GOOD FOR:
- Rough
- Oily to combination
- Mature
NOT FOR:
- Acne-prone
- Sensitive
- Skin that suffers from eczema, psoriasis, or warts
- Skin with cystic pimples or open wounds from acne
- Anyone currently using retinol
BENEFITS
- Comes with versatile 0.2mm needles, great for dermaroller beginners just starting out
- Creates little holes (microchannels) that allow skincare products to better penetrate deep into the skin
- Helps with hair loss when rolled over the scalp
- Leaves your skin with 1-2 days recovery time
How to Use:
STEP 1: Always start with a freshly cleansed, toned face, clear of oil, dirt, and any trace of makeup. Disinfect your derma roller before applying.
STEP 2: Start by rolling the tool back and forth approximately 3-5x per area. Roll horizontally over the forehead, cheeks, and chin. Then move vertically on the forehead, up and down, about 3 times. Then repeat the action, running the roller in a diagonal direction across the face.
STEP 3: After use, the rollers should be cleaned in hot tap water and shaken dry.
TIPS:
- Move from center outward through the face. For the nose area, work downward. After rolling, continue with anti-aging / active skincare products.
- Apply collagen stimulating products, brighteners, or low vitamin C serums.
REMINDERS:
• Avoid using if you have eczema, psoriasis, and warts.
• Do not roll over cystic skin or open zit wounds (to avoid spreading bacteria).
• Stop using Retinol products 4 to 5 days before using this tool.
• It’s recommended to do microneedling at night to avoid sun exposure.
