What I love about this tint is the shade, which is a nice, deep wine red. Even if it’s red, it doesn’t look too strong and is perfect for everyday wear. The pigment is buildable, so your looks can range from a sheer to solid scarlet. It has a slight scent which isn’t bothersome. The only thing I didn’t like about this is that the rollerball doesn’t pick up a lot of product, so it was a bit difficult for me to apply. Since I had lip balm on, I felt like the rollerball wasn’t transferring any tint to my lips but just gliding over it. I had to swipe over and over before some product came out. For girls with dry lips like me, I’d suggest applying the tint first, then applying a balm on top for a moisturizing and slightly glossy look. After drinking and eating, the color fades, but leaves a stain behind. Since this product is so small, it’s easy to carry around and reapply throughout the day. I’d recommend this if you want a no-fuss tint! But for those with dry lips, remember that it’s best to moisturize post-tint and not pre-tint.
