In 1975, manicure maven Jeff Pink created a quick ‘n’ easy, natural nail look for screen actresses who had no time to spare in between wardrobe changes. His timesaving manicures were feminine and timeless, never upstaging the outfit. So naturally, they became an instant favorite among stylists and starlets, eventually hitting the runways of Paris! That is how nail polish purveyor Orly was born—and with it, tip treatments, nail lacquers, and the very first better-for-your-nails gel. Today, Orly is available in hundreds of colors in various finishes and limited edition collections!
I used this color over the holidays, and I love it. I love how chrome-ish the metallic sheen is, and how solid the color is on my nails. Definitely something to use on special occasions. The color is stunning, too. Lately, I've been into neutral shades and this falls between gold and nude, which is just perfect. Will totally repurchase once I've used it all up.over 2 years ago
I tried this product very recently and I must say I am very impressed. It has a really good finish and I love how the color's natural look. It really compliments on whatever outfit I have, from the casual one to a formal look. I highly recommend it to everyone!over 2 years ago
If you want to stick to your guns and wear neutral colors but with a little bit of a twist, Orly Sand Castle is a great color to wear. This is a medium tan color with shimmers that is very easy to apply. It goes on opaque in two to three coats. However, I find this shade chips easily.almost 3 years ago
This is dark nude polish with a hint of shimmer - just right! I like nudes (dark or light) when summer comes and I get more tanned skin. The color is not that pigmented compared to the nonfrost colors as I've noticed because the nail attendant had to apply several coats of this than usual.almost 3 years ago
Sand Castle is a nice medium tan with silver micro shimmers. The shade is a great neutral color that would look amazing with any outfit. However, I find that this one dries down to a really frosty finish which I am not the biggest fan of. If you like a staple, frosty neutral, then this might work with you.almost 3 years ago
This nail polish is perfect for someone who wants a really natural, classic, and work appropriate neutral shade. It's just the right shade of tan that makes the nails look put together. The shimmer also adds a nice festive touch without going over the top. It lasted long on my nails too!almost 3 years ago
Bring on the glimmering gem tones and frosted tips.
