Healthy Chili Garlic Sauce
Chili sauce is one of the staple condiments here in the Philippines. Our version of chili sauce is generally more of a chili garlic mix compared to other chili sauce, which is basically chili, fermented bean paste, and little to no garlic at all. The Premium Chili Garlic in 100% Olive Oil by Maggie’s Kitchen is a nice blend of perfectly fried minced Chili and Garlic which will add an interesting twist to your ever so simple everyday dish. So far, I’ve tried using this on adobo, sisig topping, sautéed veggies, pasta sauce, dipping sauce mixed with toyo-mansi, dipping sauce mixed with mayonnaise, even adding a little bit on instant noodles or plain rice works really well. I did notice that this is less-saltier than the usual restaurant/store bought ones; so, it’s easier to adjust according to your personal preference. The best thing about this is that it’s in Olive Oil, which means it’s probably a healthier option than the usual chili sauce you get from anywhere else. I’ve been planning to make my own homemade chili garlic olive oil for months now, but I haven’t got the time and patience. Thank you, Beautymnl, for introducing this simple yet awesome product to me. Highly recommended, I love it.
