In 1975, manicure maven Jeff Pink created a quick ‘n’ easy, natural nail look for screen actresses who had no time to spare in between wardrobe changes. His timesaving manicures were feminine and timeless, never upstaging the outfit. So naturally, they became an instant favorite among stylists and starlets, eventually hitting the runways of Paris! That is how nail polish purveyor Orly was born—and with it, tip treatments, nail lacquers, and the very first better-for-your-nails gel. Today, Orly is available in hundreds of colors in various finishes and limited edition collections!

Worth the price!

This is my favorite nail lacquer! Orly is of high quality. I first tried this product when I had my nails done in one of my derma's beauty clinic that was way back early year 2000. It was not yet available locally that time according to the staff of that clinic, so the moment it was out in the market I splurged! It was love as first swipe! It is highly pigmented. Even without top coat it already looks glossy. The colors are so nice! Application wise, it's soooo smooth it glides on nails smoothly. It does not chip off easily. Even after a week my nails still look nice! You gotta be patient when removing it as it is highly pigmented it does not come off easily. The smell is strong though so apply it in an open air space. Oh and don't worry it won't stain your nails yellow even if you wear it for a week. This shade is ideal for people who are into neutrals, for formal occasions as well as for everyday wear since it is neautral, it subtly accentuates your nails. Making it look nice and clean (I hope you get what I mean haha as there are colors which looks dirty on nails). I sooooo love love love Orly! I will purchase more shades!

Very good!

Orly Prince Charming is a really deep chocolate brown that looks absolutely gorgeous on the nails. I find that this suits most skin tones. It has a very great formula too. It glides on smoothly and evenly on the nails. It does not drag or tug around. It is very long lasting too.

Muted brown

I LOVE neutrals on my nails. Most of the time, I will wear exclusively dark or neutral shades for months on end. Prince Charming is not exactly the kind of perfect wooden brown you would relate to mahogany or oak, but it's muted and definitely wearable for girls who aren't used to true browns on their nails. It definitely appears more dark brown on the picture, but I think you'd have to be very mestiza for the color to come off that dark :)

This nail polish from Orly is a great alternative to Country Club Khaki if you want something darker and more lustrous. I have fair skin, so it really made my skin tone lighter because of the dark shade. It also lasts long on my nails every time I use it! I absolutely love it!

this shade made my fingers look even fairer than they already are.. this is even lighter than the orly chocoholic shade.. another shade on my wish list/to buy list.. since its on the dark side i asked the salon attendant to use the orly top to bottom coat, and my nail polish i still in good shape on it 4th day now.

Really brown!

It's super brown and would suit medium skin tones better.

A really deep chocolate brown color

Prince Charming is not so charming for me. There is nothing unique about this color in my opinion. It is just a dark taupe-y brown color. I would have loved this better if it had more of a purplish undertone. But if you are into really deep chocolate brown colors, you might like this one. Just not my cup of tea.
