Vmv hypoallergenics Id anti-acne toner saved my skin!
December 4, 2014
”First off, I have been using products from VMV Hypoallergenics since I was a teenager, when my acne troubles first started. Over the years my skin has settled down to the point where I can manage the breakouts, but every now and then I get really bad breakouts and I always find myself bringing out this toner. It comes in a pretty, dark blue bottle. The astringent itself doesn’t sting or make my skin irritated or red. The instructions are pretty helpful too. They suggest starting out slowly with using this product eventually building up a tolerance to it where you can use it daily. I didn’t experience any purging period and it helped with healing my existent blemishes! Definitely will be a staple product in my skin care regimen!!”

Thumbs up for those with sensitive skin!

Since my skin's sensitive, I'm slowly working this into my routine. So far, it's been doing great! No rashes or surprise redness on my face, compared to other toners I've used. I also love the fact that VMV Hypoallergenics is a local brand! It's just a tad expensive compared to some of my skin care products.

Really effective!

I bought this for my husband as a part of VMV Hypoallergenic's Acne set. It has truly been a miracle worker. This toner has done wonders for his skin and almost all acne problems are gone. This is also really great for maintaining acne prone skin. Really, really effective treatment and would definitely repurchase once we run out!

Helps with breakouts

Removes excess oil, dirt from my face that my cleanser missed. It leaves my skin glowing, helps with breakouts and hyperpigmentation

i love VMV

I love VMV because it works really well but it's very expensive. This one works well on my acnes. Whenever I use this, it dries up my acnes fast without leaving any scars.

the most effective toner for acne!

this toner is really effective. this has been my "magic toner" since I've experienced adult acne due to thyroid problem. at first glance, a bit pricey for a toner but the way it works is so worth it. will definitely buy a bottle over and over again.

Useful for breakouts

One of the first VMV products I tried since I was a teenager. I didn't get the whole set because it was pretty pricey but I was really happy with the toner and I have continued using this until now. During my teenage years I would use it every day. However, I have noticed that since I've gotten older, I have less breakouts and now I use it maybe twice a week at most. The toner is great for people with oily and acne prone skin but might be too drying for those with dry skin. I also like the way it smells and a bottle lasts for a really long time!

Effective, but gradually increase frequency of usage as stated in the instructions to prevent breakouts

VMV HYPOALLERGENICS' Id Anti-Acne Toner (120ml) is an effective way to keep acne at bay. I used this with the cleanser and the lotion in the same line of VMV, and one really has to follow the instructions on the bottle. I am just shocked at the price increase here on BeautyMNL, so drastic and sudden, and if not for this, I would have given the product 5 stars.

Great for short term usage!

This toner is the most effective product for me when it comes to breakouts, large pores, and closed comedones. This practically cleared out my face in the shortest amount of time. However, after using this nightly and finishing two bottles, I find that my skin was becoming more dehydrated and tight because of the high amounts of alcohol. You can even tell by the really strong fumes when you open the bottle that it contains A LOT of alcohol, if that bothers you. This might be too strong for some people and it might dry out your skin too much if you use it for long term use. However, if you want a quick fix to your skin troubles, I highly recommend this. I will still repurchase, though.

Worth the price

Having bad breakouts because of cosmetic use but I didn't want to stop so I decided to get good skincare products. Upon the recommendation of a flawless friend, I tried VMV's Id set. I use this toner 2-3x a week and it's effective in removing remaining impurities. Stings a bit but I guess that's how you know it's effective.

I got this as part of the id anti acne set. The toner is mild unlike others, this does not sting at all. I use this not just on acne but on rashes as well as it soothes the itchy feeling. Will i buy it again? Probably not since it's costlier than other toners and outcome is about as same.

Didn't produce any significant or desired effect.

Well, at least for me. I bought this toner along with the Hydra Balance Gentle Cream Cleanser for Combination Skin since there was no available Id Skin-Buffing Pumice and Salicylic Facial Cleanser then. I have been using it for two months now; sadly, it has not helped me with my skin problems. I was totally expectant about this product given the reviews I'd read before considering whether to purchase this or not, not to mention its price, but regrettably, I still don't see any signs of improvement with my skin thus far at all. I'm not losing all hope just yet though, as I'm still gonna have to use it both up.
