i love eating oatmeal and thought i would make things different by adding in cacao nibs. i never thought i would love it this much! now i try to incorporate it in my shakes and sweets.
in terms of the taste, it’s similar to the other cacao nibs in the market. a taste of chocolate without it being too sweet. helps balance anything you find to be sweet already. good price for the size and the expiration date is 2 yrs from when i purchased it.
Bought these so that I can have a healthy alternative to supplement the taste of my food. Loved adding these to my peanut butter sandwich and oatmeal. Also tried adding it with my baking, and they’re great.
These won’t be expiring soon, so they’ll probably last me more than half a year.
Before I bought this one, I did not read the product description well, so here I was thinking that I would be getting sweet cacao nibs as an alternative to the more pricey sweet granolas that I love. I didn't know what to do with it after having my first bitter taste so I left the jar alone on the shelf. I gave it a try after two months and this time when my tastebuds had adjusted, i thought that it wasn't that bad after all. It then became my go to snack on midmornings. Four to five tablespoons are already enough to curb my hunger pangs until lunchtime.
