NOTE: Do not wet, apply heavy creams/lotions, expose to sweat, or scratch the newly-waxed area for 4-8 hours after waxing. Gently exfoliate the waxed area after two days to prevent the formation of ingrown hair.
How To Use:
CHECK THIS OUT: The Beginner’s Guide to Sugaring. You might also like the other step-by-step videos in the Wax Lab Channel.
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: On a large cloth or towel, prepare Cold Sugar Wax, powder, and wet wipes.
STEP 2: Apply a light layer of powder onto skin.
STEP 3: Scoop out some sugar wax—a spoonful for a small area and two spoonfuls for larger areas. Take care not to use too much since this can make it difficult to flick off.
STEP 4: Soften the sugar wax by stretching it out then folding it in, and repeating the process until the sugar wax is lighter in color and is soft enough to spread onto skin.
STEP 5: Using your fingers, apply the sugar wax on the desired area, making sure to spread it against the direction of hair growth. Repeatedly run your fingers through the wax 3-4 times to allow the hair follicles to adhere to the sugar wax for easier and quicker hair removal.
STEP 6: Using your fingers, quickly flick the wax off towards the direction of hair growth.
STEP 7: Continue the sugaring process by using the same ball of sugar wax. If the sugar wax gets too soft and is starting to melt on skin, discard it and scoop out a fresh ball of sugar wax to use. Please ensure you always apply powder before waxing.
STEP 8: Discard your ball of wax in a wet wipe and use another wet wipe to wipe off any traces of wax on your skin.
STEP 9: Apply aloe gel or antibacterial lotion after sugaring.
NOTE: Do not wet, apply heavy creams/lotions, expose to sweat, or scratch the newly-waxed area for 4-8 hours after waxing. Do not sunbathe, go to a steam bath, or take hot showers for 24 hours after waxing. Please wear loose clothing to let the skin breathe.
