No hassle travel essential 😬

I am quite obsessed with glass skin or dewy skin and this particular gel had me at "chok chok". I have previously tried Tony Moly's chok chok face mask and liked it because of it's dewy effect. This is good, but it didn't give me the "chok chok" effect that I expected. The good thing about it is that the gel is fast-absorbing and my face feels smooth after application. On my dry skin, it doesn't look dewy though. This would probably work best and maybe it will appear more dewy on normal to oily skin. :) The thing that I like about it is that it comes in a tube packaging which is very hygienic compared to the regular tub ones. Less hassle pa to bring on travels and beach trips.

My favorite aloe vera gel

I decided to try this out because of the high percentage of aloe vera gel and I am quite pleased with the results. It feels like a cool drink of water for your skin and I love it. It is very hydrating and doesn't feel sticky or uncomfortable unlike other aloe gels that I have tried. There also doesn't seem to be that strong of a fragrance despite it having some fragrance oils.

It says 99% aloe, but not enough for moisturizing

Since Nature Republic was always out of stock, and since this was on sale, I gave it a try. I like that it comes in a tube because it is more hygienic compared to a tub. However, it did not provide me enough moisture. I have a combination skin and while using this, I had dry patches on my face. Say, it did not give me chok chok skin.

OMG

This product deserves more hypeeee. No alcohol. No long lasting weird aloe vera scent. No essential oils. No BS additives. JUST. PURE. ALOE. VERA. GOOODNESSS. I love aloe vera as it is really moisturizing but no offense to those who love the ones from nature republic and the face shop. I find those annoyingly scented that when I use it to moisturize my lips I can still taste the artificial fragrance even hours from application. Yuck. Plus the hydration it gives only last for 2 hours for me then my dehydrated oily skin feels dehydrated again and will produce soooo much sebum. I can't even use it as facial mask as prolonged skin contact dehydrated my skin even more due to alcohol content. Thankfully I found this product and I used this to restore my skin barrier from the worst breakout that I had few months ago. I used this for few weeks before I start again on layering products. I put 2 layers of this and it's enough to make my skin hydrated throughout the day. 3-4 layers at night as my skin is more dehydrated in the evening. In the morning, I finish my routine with a powder to remove that usual aloe vera tacky-feel.

Like any other gel

I think all moisturizing aloe vera gel products are the the same. It just differs from the brand. The scent is nice. Not really sticky at all. And it’s not messy when you use due to the bottle/container. But it’s still recommended. These type of products are good with moisturizing job.

Worth the price!

Actually, it was my sister who introduced this aloe vera soothing gel to me but she was using the Nature Republic’s. For me, the jar packaging was a bit hassle that’s why I tried looking for another one. Then, I saw Tony Moly’s...and it did not disappoint me! For me, the tube packaging was a good idea because you can estimate how much you want to put on your face. The gel already lasted for 4 months. I always use it every day and I love the “cool” feeling. Since I started using this, believe it or not, I decided to stop putting foundation/powder on my face. Looking forward to buy again.
