LIVely Coloured, BREElliantlly Saturated and So On(drei) Point!
I initially had four of these but gave away my (New) Zola since its colour was way too similar to Bree. New Zola appears to be more pink than terracotta in my opinion. For my remaining tints, I have Bree (a brilliant warm-toned watermelon pink), Liv (a bright berry mauve) and Ondrei (a very warm, tawny brown with zero pink tones). All these tints are VERY bright and saturated and the more your rub or tap them onto the skin, the more brilliant they appear almost as if these tints were heat activated. The tints vary vastly from their appearance in the bottle so if you think Bree and Liv are muted, you are sorely mistaken! They look great on the cheeks, lids and lips and aren't at all streaky or oily despite their high oil content. Heavy application on the lips though will emphasize lip lines so a light to medium application would be the best way to go. The tints have a very faint, sweet smell reminiscent of Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts which for me is a good thing! Their consistency is runny so be careful when applying them (best to use the Dot Technique to avoid applying too much). The packaging is pretty unique but it has its pros and cons. The good thing about it is that it holds a LOT of product for its price! The applicator takes some effort use because the tip is very flimsy and hard to control but it does its job of dispensing the product well. The downside to this sort of packaging is that because it's glass, it's VERY fragile. The cap is also quite a let-down too because the plastic material it uses is quite brittle and is prone to cracking if you screw it on too tight. Another con would be the product's tendency to leak (maybe a gasket would help). Lasting power is awesome (4-6 hours approx. on my entire face). With regard to the shade range, my unexpected favorite among the bunch would have to be Ondrei since I was initially put off by its colour in the bottle (it looked pretty unappealing and when swatched on the back of my hand, registered as very Oompah Loompah / Donald Trump-esque LOL). Ondrei, contrary to its appearance, is very wearable especially for medium-dark toned skin. It does bring out a nice glow on my cheeks and a neutral, natural brown on my lips (the pink/mauve color of my lips offsets the orange tones in it). Overall, I think this is so worth the hype and prefer these over the Coloursnaps. I just hope they release more neutral and muted shades for people who aren't fans of vivid colours!
