Too expensive.

I bought this on sale last week for P600, I was a fan of the 2-way cake foundation that was phased out some years ago and I haven't tried anything from this brand since then, so I decided to give this one a try. The packaging looked so sleek - all black plastic with a compact mirror at the back of the powder pan. But I find it too expensive at P600 with it being just a pressed powder and not a foundation. Some brands could do the same things it does without spending that much.

It is sheer and lightweight but it's also sweatproof.

The thing I like about pressed powders is that it's easy to apply: a few pats and you are ready to go. Plus, it is also compacted so you can literally bring it anywhere. I love the Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder in particular because its formula is not cakey at all. It is sheer and lightweight but it's also sweatproof.

Great Powder, Not So Great Color Selection

As a matte press powder, this Revlon item is perfect. It has long-staying power and really works to keep oiliness at bay. The puff included in the package is also a perfect companion. The only trade-off, however, is that the puff isn’t made of the sturdiest materials. However, it the range of colors available in the Philippine market for this product is not outstanding. The existing shades here are too peachy for morenas like me. Hopefully Revlon will be able to widen the selection of shades in the near future to suit the needs of Filipinas.

the superior drugstore pressed powder

This is the superior drugstore pressed powder that I've used. You don't have to spend 1k+++ to get a Mac pressed powder because Colorstay can be a cheaper alternative! Although it's priced a bit higher than other drugstore powders (e.g. Maybelline, Happy Skin x Kathryn Bernardo), its performance is much better by miles. Worth every single penny!
