Cetaphil is my mom's and aunts' go to brand. They use it on their face and the rest of their body in the evening after taking a bath. It's like an all around lotion. It really keeps their skin smooth and they look pretty young for their age. Though I've tried to use it, I don't like it a lot because of its scent. Or better yet its lack of scent. In my case, there's this feeling that taking care of your skin is a relaxing experience especially when you smell your lotion, face moisturizer, etc. Regardless, it's an effective product based on its effects on my mom and her sisters. The funny thing is whenever one of them goes to a duty free shop, they buy loads of this and give it away to each other. Maybe this will become a staple in my routine in the future when I decide to go for fragrance free products.about 2 months ago
It was highly recommended to me by a beautiful old lady I've met. She looked younger than her years and told me that this was her only secret. I was convinced because her skin really looks good and healthy. Sadly it didn't worked out for me. It felt really hot on my face. It stings and would make my skin red. It did moisturize my face but it wasn't friendly to my oily skin. I just used this as a hand and feet lotion to not waste the product.8 months ago
Hmmm... not really happy about this. I have oily combination skin and sometimes i would get dry patches on my face. I used to apply this to solve that problem but I think this just made another problem for me. It made me oilier than ever. Oh and I don't know why but this is the only moisturizer that stings my face! Good thing I only had a sample of this so I just threw it out.8 months ago
I tried this moisturizer since i am an avid fan of cetaphil cleanser. The gentle and oily cleanser works for me, so i guessed the mositurizer would work on me too. Unfortunately, It did not live up to my expectation. Plus side it comes in SPF 15, the downside leaves my skin too oily and it is quite heavy for day use.over 1 year ago
I used a lot of moisturizers before but this one, in my opinion, helped me with my dry patches. I always use anti-oil products that made my face really dry even if I use moisturizers (ex. Celeteque Matte Moisturizer). My mom recommended this and it helped me remove the dryness on my face while making my face supple. I recommend using this with the foam wash for oily skin. It maybe costly but youre getting what you paid for so why not!over 1 year ago
This is not the moisturizer for me, I guess. When I first applied this on, my face felt hot. At first, I thought it's because I applied it after I exfoliated my skin. Maybe my skin was just a bit sensitive from being exfoliated. I didn't mind the hot sensation for a couple of days. Until it has been a week from my exfoliation, and the moisturizer still felt hot on my face. I also noticed that my face got redder. I should've stopped using this right off the bat but I just continued on using this because it is expensive. I'm sorry, this didn't work for me.over 1 year ago
