Laneige comes from Korean cosmetic giant, Amorepacific—the same makers of well-loved beauty brands like Etude House, InnisFree, Lolita Lempicka and Annick Goutal. Established in 1945, it holds its headquarters in Youngsan-Gu, South Korea. Laneige is French for “the snow” and products are developed towards similar characteristic ideals—crystal clear, dewy and vibrant. By harnessing the power of water through science, Laneige products revolve around achieving a youthful glow through skincare and skincare cosmetics.

good but too expensive

Let me start by saying this is ridiculously expensive. The Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream works as it is advertised. Very hydrating and soothing on the skin. it works as a great moisturiser. However, I think you can get the same effect with much cheaper brands. It's great and all but I don't really recommend spending so much on this.

It's okay

I use this as a night moisturizer (I've almost finished my jar), and I like it. It's moisturizing and really sinks into your skin. I'd definitely recommend it for combination-dry skin, but those of you with dry skin might need something thicker/more moisturizing (which is the only reason I won't be repurchasing).

too sticky

It feels very heavy and sticky on my face.

Too Dense for Me

I'm not a fan of the texture. I just think it feels too "goopy"/sticky, though I know it's meant to seal refiner, emulsion, and essence in. I feel like there are so many products out there that have a lighter texture and consistency, but still help seal-in skincare.
