Good but not good enough for its price tag

I've used this for a month already and the lazy girl in me loves this. This multi-tasking product claims to be able to remove makeup too, and I love that I can skip a step in my routine esp on days that I just wanna sleep when I get home. I knocked off a star though because it can't remove my gel eyeliner and waterproof mascara and I find that I need to moisturize more when I use this as compared to my old cheap Korean brand skin cleanser. I have sensitive skin and this did not break me out so that's good. The scent smells good but lingers for quite some time (which can be good or bad depending on your preference). I find this to be a good product, but for the price, I expected it to wow me more.

Mild cleanser

I have been using this for a month now and I think I et give this product a fair review. Since I have oily acne prone skin, I was kind of worried that this wont work in my skin. however, I found this very mild and the best thing is, it did not gave me breakouts. For that, I am quite satisfied.

Price Tag Justified by Performance

I've been using this for about a month. When this was sent to me, I immediately checked out if this is within my regular facial wash budget and found it to be 3 times more expensive. I have really high hopes for this product. I've been using this as my night time facial cleanser and I am very satisfied. I usually does double cleansing but sometimes during stressful days, I am just too tired that I will just skip all the steps and stick to solely washing my face. This truly removes all the makeup and grimes from my face at the end of the day, without the hassle of going through a lot of steps. I like the formulation and the key ingredient list. I didn't read anything that might cause any awful reaction from my skin. The newest addition to my skincare recipe: Resveratrol, an antioxidant that combats the effects of stress and aging. I love that this comes in a pump bottle, just 2-3 pumps is enough for my whole face, a month after and I haven't reached halfway so this will probably last me for a good 2 months more. This doesn't strip the skin of moisture and my skin felt bouncy smooth after each wash. A luxurious product that might earn a permanent seat on my skincare list.

Good!!

I've used this as the second step of my double cleansing routine for a few weeks now and it works quite well. I haven't really tested it personally but after I use this, I don't find that it dries up my face. It doesn't feel stretched/tight at all, but it still manages to cleanse my face from the oil residue of my first cleanser. It also has a scent but it's not overpowering so that's nice. The bottle comes with a lot of product that lathers up quite well but I personally don't think it's worth its original price.

Tread carefully, skincare friends!

First things first: common triggers in the ingredients list. The first ingredient right after water (Aqua) is an ester, which isn’t recommendable to anyone suffering from fungal acne. (This might be offset by your treatment step – mine is azelaic acid, some use AHAs, etc. – but I can’t say for sure. Your mileage will vary.) (Artificial) Fragrance is also listed in the middle of the list, which probably partly explains why this smells so good, and this might trigger some people. Same for the botanicals mainly used for this cleanser. These ingredients are common triggers: I’m not saying they’re bad – not as bad as sulfates, anyway, which aren’t included here thankfully – but I would advise caution for anyone acne-prone. (Given the price, though, I suppose the people who would go for this are those with already very resilient skin. In that regard...) Second, the experience: this is more a cream-gel cleanser than a foaming one, so don’t expect it to foam. The pump squirts a noodle-like amount, which I think helps save a lot of product and would probably make this last long enough to justify the price. You can either massage it on your hands first or use it straight on the face: it’s a very pleasant texture, and the smell is fantastic. For those who value the sensorial experience in skincare, this would be as good of a treat as other luxury-priced cleansers (e.g. Sulwashoo, but I personally like the smell and texture of this better). Third, the performance: as an acne-prone person anything that doesn’t break me out already gets a minimum of three stars (hahaha). I found this very hydrating. I don’t have a pH tester to check the pH-levels of this yet, but I’m assuming it’s within the safe range since it doesn’t feel stripping at all. (Again, can’t be sure. I’d just be personally surprised if it goes above a 7.) I would still have to use it longer for a more accurate performance review (been only using it for 2 weeks) but so far so great! My skin looks and feels fantastic the mornings after the evenings I use this (and it’s the only thing changed in my routine). Because it’s in a sturdy pump packaging, too, and sits by my sink, I sometimes like to use it as a hand wash. (Cleansers can be multi-purpose, just saying.) I got this as a gift, but I’m liking this a lot so far. If you don’t mind the trigger risks and the price – this is really an adventurous sort of product to try – then this might also be a pleasant surprise for you, too. If not, well, I think your Tita will love it as a gift. :P

A gentle and luxurious cleanser

This cleanser is one of the gentlest cleanser that I ever tried that's good for both morning and evening cleansing,it doesn't totally removes heavy makeup so I still use a makeup remover and this product as a second cleanser at night. It smells so great, and cleanses my skin without the feeling of tightness and dryness. I also admire it's luxurious glass packaging with a hygienic pump,no more spills and dispenses the right amount of product that I need. The only downside of this product is it is expensive but it's totally worth buying.
