A Good Team Player
I first encountered acai berry powder when my sister sent us a pack of it from Australia with alarming caveats: refrigerate soonest; mix with cold, not hot cereal (because heat kills the nutrients); consume within a month after opening. Whoa. . . . Anyway, it was a small pack (250 gms?) that stayed and stayed and stayed in the ref (we forced ourselves to finish it days before the deadline). The taste was overpowering, its teeny-weeny seeds got stuck in the crevices of our teeth, and a teaspoon of it turned our breakfast bowl into a deep purple! Roarganics's acai berry powder is not a bit like its Australian counterpart. It is seedless, pale purple, subtle in taste, and without any precautions. It sits well with us and interacts peaceably with our taste buds. It is part of the breakfast routine and hopefully contributes substantially to our overall wellness.
