Not bad, but there's cheaper elsewhere
I got Dream Quartz on sale since I was really getting into highlighters and wanted to try Colourette's a try, since I'm a fan of the brand. Admittedly, P799 is a lot for a highlighter in general, local or otherwise, so I was kind of glad I got it on discount. The component is cute and pink, and though it doesn't feel that sturdy, I do appreciate the mirror on it. Regarding the color, Dream Quartz is a warm gold that I think would look great on any skin tone. That said, I wouldn't say this is subtle exactly--the gold flecks really show up, so if you're more into a luminous, soft highlight, this isn't for you. It's bordering on glittery, which I honestly don't mind, but since I don't like to go for gold tones a lot, I don't use this on the regular. The glitter is fine enough so that you can tone it down, but it would still give you that "vampire from Twilight" effect, I would think. lol. I was quite surprised though that the product was so powdery. The fallout from this is a bit crazy, and that you have to be careful about. Even the mirror on the compact gets covered in glitter! Overall, if this weren't priced so highly, I wouldn't mind, but given so much other local competition (at much lower prices at that), you'd probably be better off getting something else.
