Wrap the pillows in a towel, insert in a microwavable plastic container and steam for 10 to 15 minutes on low heat. Always check that the pillow is not too hot for your skin. Do not soak pillow in water. For cold compress, insert in a plastic container and put in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Insert in a plastic ziplock if not in use. Do not soak in water. Do not overheat. Pillowcase is washable for medium and large sizes. Pillow has peppermint scent but wears off eventually—you may re-apply drops of essential oil or pillow spray to enhance aroma.
Kimochi Aroma manufactures natural home health remedy products, including microwavable herbal pillows and essential oils used for aromatherapy. “Kimochi” is a Japanese word for good mood—this associates the same wonderful feeling with every use of the therapy pillows. All Kimochi Aroma products are purely hand-crafted and 100% Filipino made.
Unlike other heat packs, this aroma pillow comes in a peppermint scent that you can touch up with essential oils when it fades. It also has a pillowcase that you can remove and wash when necessary. Best of all, you can easily bring it around because it's ultra-portable and easy to use. Simply pop it in the microwave (or freezer!) and you're good to go. Love it!over 1 year ago
