Pros: Long lasting, doesn't stain easily or fades easily. Not sticky and feels really lightweight. I like the shade I got (peach please). Makes the lips look full not cracked or cakey. Ingredients are natural.
Cons: It can take a long time to dry and when you touch it while it's still drying, it will look matte but won't feel like it. Also, I've noticed that if you eat anything like bread, waffle, etc. (except chips) it won't fade but it starts to get a little sticky. I think these happens because it disturbs the top layer of the product.
I am disappointed because I expected the product to be as good as how others sees it. I read reviews first before buying/trying new products and I was surprised that it did not work that well on me. I bought 2 shades - Peach Please and My Lips but Better. It made my lips look dry and it emphasizes the lines of my lips. The color payoff was nice but it is patchy. The smell is like clay! It dries up fast and it lasted for 4-5 hours on my lips.
I decided to try Kayla's other products after using their liptint (which I loved, by the way), and I was in the mood to hoard lipsticks, so I settled on trying this one. Gosh, this lipstick is amazing! Aside from the fact that it's pigmented, it also has a different formula compared to several liquid matte lipsticks that I've used. This is more liquid-y, dries faster, buildable, and lightweight. Basically, it's 1) easier to apply, 2) you won't have to wait for that long before it dries down to a matte finish, 3) it's not patchy when reapplied on the lips or on top of the dried down lipstick, 4) at first your lips will feel heavy but once it's completely dry, it will feel like you're wearing nothing on your lips. In terms of longevity, it's also worth a praise! Most of the lipstick stayed even when I ate oily food and the only parts where I had to reapply (just a liiiittle swipe) were the inner lips. The only possible con I can think of is the smell, especially to those who are sensitive to the smell of the products they're using. It's not a strong smell, though, so I'm not really bothered.
All in all, I'm so impressed by this. Their liptint is great and so does their liquid matte lipstick. What's more, it's made by a local, relatively new brand! This is something that I will surely buy again!
