Natural and organic ingredients are at the heart of L’Occitane. Founder Olivier Baussan himself in fact, distilled rosemary and lavender to explore plant benefits and what nature has to offer. Distillation of essential oils and putting the highest concentration possible in their products is a tradition that has been carried out since the brand’s birth in 1976. The brand also instills respect for the environment through eco-friendly and sustainable efforts. L’Occitane has maintained its heritage by being true to its birthplace, Provence, France, and by being close to its environment. Green, aromatic and authentic, these best describe their line of beauty products.

L'occitane makes sure you get your money's worth!

It's nice to splurge on some self-care items once in a blue moon and L'occitane makes sure that you get your money's worth. This shampoo has somewhat of a plant-ish smell. Far from the scent of flowers giving a very relaxing and soothing aromatherapy as you wash your hair with this. It does not strip your of its natural oils and leaves it feeling clean and well-nourished.

Repairs dry and damaged hair for a huge price

I used this shampoo for a couple of months and I like how it smoothened my dry hair. It did a good job for removing my dandruff but only for some time though. Detangling my mane became easier and its scent stayed over even for the next day which I really love and kind of makes me feel that I don't need to wash my hair for another day anymore (but I still do, btw, haha!). The only thing downside is the price. Sure, it's effective, but for a bottle of shampoo, it's something that will definitely break the bank.

Can't get enough!

I have the trial size and, I have to say, I can't get enough of this shampoo! Leaves my hair feeling soft and at the same time, smelling divine! Really pricey though for a shampoo.

Leaves hair soft and nicely scented

Leaves my hair soft with great scent. I don't feel the need to use conditioner after. Taking out one star only because of the price

It's not the shampoo, it's my scalp...

I would like to love this shampoo. It's very fragrant and my hair feels light after wash. The only problem is, my scalp is super sensitive with almost all shampoos that I've tried, except Avalon Organics' Scalp Normalizing Shampoo. But I can safely say that anyone who doesn't have super sensitive scalp will surely enjoy this.

Effective but pricey

My hair feels so soft and easy to manage when I started to use this shampoo. And the scent lasts all day. You only need a small amount to form a lather. My only gripe is the price. I would prefer OGX because I get the same benefits but for a cheaper price.
