Anytime Menstrual Cup

Anytime Menstrual Cup PH aims to provide Filipinas with good quality, affordable, and reusable period protection in the form of a cup-type insertion. Made of a high quality silicone used in the medical and food industry, each cup works by creating a vacuum-like seal once inserted to prevent leakage as it gathers menstrual flow. It can collect 3 times more liquid compared to ordinary pads or tampons, and depending on the strength of flow, will provide protection from leaks for up to 4 to 6 hours for heavy, strong flow and 8 to 20 hours for average flow—letting you last a full day before emptying the cup out. It not only helps you cut out the use of plastic during your monthly cycle but also is perfect for providing comfort and security during physical activities, including water-related sports.

Meh...

Ordered this thinking it will be more economical but I'm not sure if I can continue using this haha. I've been using this for 2 periods now and I still haven't had the hang of it. It's uncomfortable to insert and it's really messy to empty especially if you're not using your own bathroom. I have pretty heavy flows so I still got leaks. Bad leaks. I'll probably just use it if I'll go swimming during my period.

Glad I Made the Switch

I bought this size because the first menstrual cup I got was too small. Apparently my cervix is high. No wonder it was hard to remove! This one's better for me. It really catches my blood when it's that time of month, and doesn't cause any leaking. If you're new to this though, you may take a lot of practice to get the hang of it. But trust me, it's really rewarding! It's not uncomfortable at all when done right, and you don't even feel it at all!

I am a convert!

I have been looking into alternatives to disposable sanitary napkins after I gave birth to my 2nd child because I developed an allergy to most available brands in the market. I started with cloth pads since I use cloth diapers on my daughter but I wasn’t as comfortable as I wanted to be. Then I learned about menstrual cups through a Facebook group and read up about it. I bought the Anytime menstrual cup because it was affordable and I thought that if wearing a menstrual cup did not work out for me, at least it wasn’t that expensive and I did not blow off that much money. I was pleasantly surprised ay how easy it was to use and how much more comfortable I was during my time of the month! I have now been using this cup for 5 cycles and I am so happy with it’s performance! I have become a menstrual cup convert! Thank you Anytime!

My first cup ❤

I bought this because I'm looking for an eco alternative to napkins... And washable pads are not practical for me outside the house. I've read and watched a lot of videos for menstrual cups so I can tell that this is more on the firmer side than others. The rim is a little too firm for me and it hurt when I try to pull it out because the rim doesn't bend easily, but it does a good job with collecting and there's only a minor leak for me. Overall, I might just look for another cup that has a softer rim.

Cup convert

It’s my first time using a cup and I’m converted! The actual product I got is not what’s shown in the pictures, though. The tail has a knob at the end instead of a pointed tail that you can cut. I think what I got is better since it’s easier to pull out. It’s slippery when it’s inserted so I can imagine it’s harder without the knob. The cup is also surprisingly harder than I expected. It’s not painful or anything but I wonder if more expensive brands are more pliable. I didn’t experience any leaks except some spotting on my first try.

Steep learning curve - prepare yourself

I read up and watched videos online about menstrual cups before purchasing and trying this one. I thought I'd consumed all the information I'd need, but I did it wrong the first few times and it was painful! It was only near the end of my first cycle (after talking to someone who's been using one) that I finally got the hang of it. I can't compare the Anytime cup to other brands since this is the only one I've used, but as a cup, it's pretty standard. I used size 2 since I'm over 30. You must expect that it will take a while to figure out, but after I got it - no leaks, and you really forget you're wearing it. Worth it if you're brave!
