PERFECT FOR: A silky, luscious lip look
LOVELY BUT NOT KISS PROOF.
”I picked up this lippy as I needed some more. Didn’t know if the color was great for me but had nothing but compliments and where I got it so it ticks the right boxes. It isn’t kiss proof as it does leave marks on skin, cups and such. Overall, very happy with it, will totally be buying more when I need more.”

In Hollywood’s Golden Age, the visionary makeup artist behind the signature looks of Ava Gardner, Jean Harlow, and Marlene Dietrich was a certain Mr. Max Factor. Credited as the man who coined the term “makeup,” Max Factor believed that glamour should be within the reach of all women, not just film stars. Today, women all over the world enjoy the fruits of his labor through his eponymous cosmetics empire. From mascara to foundation, eye shadow to lipstick, and everything in between, Max Factor’s creations allow every girl to be her own makeup artist and make a glamorous beauty statement, every single day.
I love this lipstick. It is sheer and has some shimmer (I love shimmer!). I have it in Raisin and it complements my skin tone. It looks natural but with a hint of colour. I like the creamy formula and how it doesn't dry my lips (but then, I put lip balm before anything). It doesn't feel heavy, either. It doesn't last long on me, but admittedly, I only put a light coat. This shade is perfect for days when I don't want to use my orange lip tint.3 months ago
I am not a matte type of girl as they have the tendency to dry my lips. I always go from creamy ones. This lipstick is creamy and very comfortable on the lips. The colors are lovely (I have English rose and my favorite sunbronze) and I also love the finish. What I don't like is that it easily fades4 months ago
My first lipstick was from Max Factor (Ruby Tuesday). I have tried other drugstore lipsticks (e.g. Maybelline, L’Oréal, Revlon, Rimmel, and Avon) but I always go back to Max Factor. The Coral shade here is similar to Ruby Tuesday. I love this line because it doesn’t feel tacky on the lips. It also lasts for a long time. Applied properly, I don’t need to retouch for at least 6 hours. Plus, the packaging is very sturdy and actually a bit classy (e.g. compared to the L’Oréal Balmain lipstick casings). Buy this and you won’t have any regrets!4 months ago
