BEST FOUNDATION BOUGHT WHICH MATCHES MY SKIN TONE
January 2018
”I bought this foundation a few months back. I have always had trouble finding a foundation that matched my skin tone perfectly. I have tried YSL’s fusion ink foundation & Touche Éclat Le Teint foundation before and I am surprised to say this Max Factor one was way better than either of those when it comes to matching my skin tone. Only negative thing to say about this foundation was that I have oily skin and from midday onwards I can start noticing the shine coming through when I have the foundation on.”

Best foundation I've tried so far‼️😍

Bought this as a gift for my grandmother but it's the first time that I was able to buy a Max Factor Product so I couldnt help but try it on as well. Mas Factor is known even way before as a trusted brand with a bit pricey products. Gladly they were on sale when I bought this (at 299!) which I then grabbed! The first time my lola applied it on her face, I was so amazed how it blended so well on her skin, she doesnt look like she's wearing a foundation. When I tried it on myself, it felt so light and soft on my skin. ❤️

It feels like I'm not wearing foundation.

I bought 80 bronze on a whim when it was on sale. It has light coverage, evens out my skin but it doesn't fully hide blemishes and my scar. It feels like I have nothing on so parang second skin. Yung ingredients niya more on moisturizing so probably ok ito for people with dry skin. It is paraben free, but not alcohol free. It also has silica so may konting oil control, but only for atleast 3-4 hours sa combination skin ko. The foundation smells kinda like soda pero nawawala rin naman kaagad but if you're sensitive to scents I would not recommend it for you. This feels more like a tinted moisturizer or bb cream than a foundation, which is fine cause I use this for a natural look.

(Got this on sale in Rustan's) For inquiries about my skin: I have been taking acne medication, as a result I have combination skin leaning on DRY. My Maybelline shade is 128 Warm Nude and I'm some where around an NC35 in M.A.C. I got mine in the shade 47 Nude. Pro: - extensive shade line - healthy skin finish (not necessarily dewy, more natural satin) - light to medium coverage, somewhat buildable - very light, almost watery, consistency - if you give it time to set it doesn't transfer easily (but it does) - the pump is a twist and lock type Con - I don't think this would work well on oily skin, it has no oil controlling properties nor does it claim to have any - could emphasize blemishes - using a brush can leave streaks, I suggest using a sponge - can emphasize dry patches - although there are a good range of shades, I was hoping for something to be in the middle of 47 to 60 as well as an increase in more yellow undertones - plastic cap is a bit cheap looking paired with the glass bottle - it has a mild perfume scent which I don't find to be a con however some people may be particular about this It's a type of foundation that's supposed to wear out through the day, not for heavy duty or long lasting occasions. It does wear out but really mixes well with the natural oils that come out so that it looks "natural". Oxidizes a bit though not dramatically different. Recommended for those with Normal to dry skin; do note to moisturize well before application for best results.
